Web Design in Scottsdale

Today, almost everyone looks at a company’s website before purchasing their product or service. Most people look at a few websites before making a decision. It is imperative that your website looks better than your competition’s or they’ll get the phone calls and you’ll be left in the dust.

A brand new website is often the least expensive, yet most lucrative investment a business can make. If you’re not sure if you need a new website or simply have a few questions about it, feel free to call or contact us anytime! Website styles are constantly evolving. What people expect to see now is much different than just a few years ago. If you want to generate new business with your website, it is imperative that you have a website that looks better than your competition. We keep up with the current website trends and are constantly discovering new ways to keep our sites looking professional and current.

Built for Conversions

People usually leave a website within a few seconds of getting there. Just like any good story, a website needs to have a hook. When it comes to Scottsdale web design, the hook needs to be visual. If you don’t have engaging images or structure shown right away, your competitors will get the customers. If you want to increase conversions with your website, it must have an engaging appeal.

Although there is a lot more that goes into search engine marketing than the website itself, SEO always starts with the website’s content. In order to show up high in search results, it is crucial that the search engines know exactly what each page is about and which content is most important. If you’re a personal injury lawyer then you’ll want to make sure “personal injury lawyer” is found in your title, description, headings, and a few times within the content.

Search Engine Optimization

An SEO Overview

Search Engine Optimization, or SEO, is the process of building up a website's trust and relevance to rank higher in search results for keywords that are relevant to the site's content. Usually, SEO is used by a business to generate more traffic to their website from users that are searching for their products or services. If you like inbound leads, then SEO is perfect for you. Google doesn’t rank websites; they rank web pages. They choose pages that have relevant content and a trustworthy set of backlinks to show up high in the search results. Google and other search engines use a very complex algorithm to comb through the content and analyze all of the links coming in from other sites to determine which pages people will most likely want to see.

The SEO Difference

Google doesn’t rank websites; they rank web pages. They choose pages that have relevant content and a trustworthy set of backlinks to show up high in the search results. Google and other search engines use a very complex algorithm to comb through the content and analyze all of the links coming in from other sites to determine which pages people will most likely want to see. If you’ve had a website up for ten to fifteen years, chances are you will have a lot of content that has been tweaked over the years and a healthy number of natural backlinks accumulated over a decade. If you haven’t had a website for that amount of time but need to show up high in search results, then you need search engine optimization. When a website links to your site, they are saying, “Here is some information on this subject. Now, if you want additional information, or better information, go to this website.” SEO is what gets your website to rank higher in search results, which leads to more traffic, thus more customers.

How SEO Works

On-Page SEO

On-Page Optimization describes the process in which content on a page of a website is edited to let search engines know what content is the most important. Books have titles, summaries, chapter names, and pages of engaging words. They do this to let you know what the book is about, what each chapter is about, etc. Websites work in a similar way. Each page has a title, a description, headings, and engaging words. Having your target keywords placed cleverly in the titles, descriptions, and headings will let the search engines know what the page is about, and thus what to rank you for. On-page optimization is crucial to telling search engines what is on your page. Each target keyword should be featured in the name of the page, in the heading on the page, and a few times throughout the wording on the page. Your keywords should always be apparent on the page and in specific places, but should only be featured about 2% of the time (once per 50 words). If you feature your keyword too many times on the page, it doesn’t seem natural and will lead to “over optimization”. Over optimization causes your website to be penalized and do poorly in search results.

Off-Page SEO

Types of links matter. Google and other search engines look at each link coming to your web pages to determine how trustworthy the content on each page is. An amount of credit is given for each link. The page with the best content and the most “quality” links will rank higher than everyone else. It is important to have various types of links as well. You should have links coming from .edus, high 2.0 blogs, and big authority sites. Search Engine Optimization is about having quality content and quality links. You can have thousands of backlinks, but if they are all coming from random blogs and Wikipedia, you aren’t going to rank higher than your competitor with 50 solid, quality links. This is a very basic description of SEO. In reality, there are hundreds of factors that go into Google’s algorithm which is why most people hire professionals to rank their site rather than trying to do it themselves. When done correctly, your web pages will quickly shoot up the ranks and eventually establish themselves at the top of the results.

Google Ads

If you need to start generative traffic to your website ASAP then running ads is the best way to do it. It only takes a few hours to set up an ad campaign and you can start generative traffic that same day. However, just because you're generating traffic doesn't mean that traffic is going to convert to paying customers. There will certainly be some customers ready to purchase, but several users that are just looking into the topic, or thought they were searching for something else. To figure out what works and what doesn't, you need to create several different types of ads. There's really no way to write the most effective ad and target the most lucrative keywords on the first try so you need to have various ads, collect data, then use that data to see which ads worked and which ones didn't.
